About hard large mazes
What they are
Hard large mazes are long, winding routes buried among dozens of decoy branches on a 30 × 30 grid. Every maze in this set has been measured and rejected unless its path is long and crowded with false turns, so none of them are pushovers.
How to play
Trace a single unbroken line from entrance to exit through the corridors, never through walls. On a hard 30 × 30 maze, expect many forks where both branches look identical for several squares.
Tips
Solve in pencil and mark ruled-out branches with crosses. Look for bottlenecks: places where a long wall leaves only one gap. The route has to pass through, so finding them splits one big maze into several small ones.
