About kids countries word search puzzles
What they are
Kids countries word searches use a 10×10 grid with big letters and ten short country names such as CUBA, PERU, CHINA, INDIA and SPAIN. Names run only across or down, so young explorers can solve them on their own. Each puzzle mixes countries from different continents, so children meet a little of the whole world in one sitting.
How to play
Read each country together, find its first letter, then look right or down. Point to the country on a globe after you find it and talk about what it is famous for.
Tips
Start with a country your child has heard of or visited. Short names fit neatly in a 10×10 grid, so most can be found by sliding a finger along each row.
