What they are
Medium brain teaser word searches add diagonals to across and down. ENIGMA might slope towards the bottom right and CIPHER might climb towards the top right, while each word reads forwards and keeps its own squares. The 20×20 grids include advanced puzzle words such as CONUNDRUM, WHODUNIT and MASTERMIND, which make a nice vocabulary stretch for older children. Smaller grids focus on everyday words such as CLUE, THINK and GUESS, so any puzzle fan can join in.
How to play
From each starting letter, check across, down and both forward slants. Think of it as cracking a code: every square belongs to one answer at most.
Tips
Look for the X in PARADOX and the Q in QUESTION. CHALLENGE has a double L that stands out on a slant.
