About kids christmas word search puzzles

What they are

Kids Christmas word searches use a 10×10 grid with big letters and ten short festive words such as ELF, STAR, GIFT, TREE and BELLS. Words run only across or down, so beginners can solve them independently while the grown-ups wrap presents.

How to play

Read each word together, find its first letter, and look right along the row or down the column. Colour each found word in a different festive colour to make the grid look like fairy lights.

Tips

Start with STAR or TREE, which most children recognise straight away. Counting how many words are left on the list builds excitement, just like counting down the sleeps to Christmas.

Who they suit

These suit children aged four to seven, preschool Christmas parties, and Christmas Eve countdown activities. They also slip neatly into a stocking with a short pencil for Christmas morning.

Printing

Each kids Christmas puzzle prints large on a single page; add a gold sticker for every word found. The answer page prints separately.
