About kids' fun word search puzzles
What they are
Kids' fun word searches are full of things children love: TEDDY BEAR, DINOSAUR, UNICORN, PLAYGROUND, BUBBLES and BIRTHDAY. The 45-word list is chosen for younger readers, with plenty of short, familiar words.
How to play
Find each word on the list and draw a ring round it. Young children can tick off the matching picture or word as they go, which keeps them motivated to the end.
Tips
Encourage children to say the first letter out loud and look for it in every row. DINOSAUR and PLAYGROUND are long enough for beginners to find first, which builds confidence.
Who they suit
These puzzles suit preschool to second grade, birthday parties, rainy-day activity boxes and restaurant waits. The Kids level is designed specifically for early readers. Older children can try the Medium and Hard levels with the same fun vocabulary, so siblings of different ages can solve the same theme together.
Printing
Print on bright paper and add a sticker for every word found. Answers are on a separate page.
