What they are
Hard food word searches scatter dishes in all eight directions and allow them to overlap. NOODLES might read upward, CHEESE backwards, and two foods can share a letter where they meet. On the 20×20 grids, that adds up to a seriously crowded kitchen.
How to play
From each likely starting letter, look at all eight surrounding squares for the next letter of the food. Reversed entries read right to left or bottom to top, so SOUP may appear as PUOS and still count.
Tips
Doubled letters work in any direction: the EE in CHEESE or the RR in CHERRY stand out whether forwards or backwards. Once a long word like BROCCOLI is found, inspect the letters around it for foods that cross through.
